There are three farmers markets in Soldotna, and you don’t want to miss out on the offerings these vendors are dishing up. The Central Peninsula Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Kenai Spur Highway/Corral Avenue parking lot. New vendors are always setting up shop with everything from smoked local salmon to indigenous arts, handmade soaps, and even   jewelry.

Tuesdays, the Farmers Fresh Market is open from 3 – 6 p.m. at the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank. Located on Kalifornsky Beach Road, this market is all about “whole foods for the whole community.” You’ll get local, seasonal, and fresh produce and meats that highlight the unique flavors of the peninsula.

Check out the Wednesday Market from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekly at Soldotna Creek Park, where outdoor food, arts, and crafts vendors set up shop mid-week throughout the summer to showcase their goods. It’s the perfect outing for the whole family, with the sprawling playground giving little ones plenty of opportunity to work out that extra energy.
