Dog sledding is huge in Alaska and is celebrated at the annual Iditarod Sled Dog Race every March. Now you can experience the same exhilarating feeling being pulled by Alaska’s most powerful, and cutest, creatures!

Where? Dog sledding tours are available in many locations including Anchorage, Girdwood, Denali, Seward, and Fairbanks.

What is included? You will meet iconic Iditarod racers, hear what it takes to be a racer, see how the dogs are trained, and give dog sledding a try!

Are tours only in winter? The dog sledding tours are only available in winter, but in summer, you can ride the wheeled carts that the dogs use to practice with.
