However, they only offer outdoor patio dining and carryout. No indoor dining is available. Their burgers are made from Australian beef, so there’s no question about their flavor! There’s definitely a dive vibe in this place, the food here is great, and the Hawaiian-style BBQ is superb! Among their top menu items are Japanese and Chinese styles of food, Chips & Nachos, along with some good old-fashioned burgers. 

Their fries are hot and plump. Among their fan favourites is the steak burger that adds a spicy kick with jalapeno peppers. Their fish burger with deep-fried fish cod, tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and American cheese and mushroom Cheeseburger that comes with a 1/3 patty, grilled onion, mushroom, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and ketchup is worth checking.

With over seventy years of experience serving Anchorage with fine cuisine, this restaurant is a quintessential part of this city’s history. Those who have been there are aware that ambience is everything here. This is a dimly-lit, moody place that will kind of remind you of a mafia movie set in the 1950s. The fact that there are places like this that still put effort and care into their food is nice in a world where fast food is the norm. 

From meat patties all the way down to cheese, the ingredients used here really show how much attention they pay to what goes on your plate. Here, ice-cold martinis and retro vibes pair perfectly with their ‘lunchtime-only burger’. Perfectly thick, juicy, and made from filet mignon trimmings, that burger is a must-try.

Having their escargot is a lot of fun too. Aside from that, they serve snails in a dedicated metal plate that the snail shells fit right into, along with tong clamps you use to hold them and a two-prong fork to remove the snail meat. Typical French bistro vibes, which you’ll love! 

Hors D’oeuvre Platters, ground New York steak burgers, and blue cheese bacon burgers are all delicious options. In addition to steaks, cocktails, fries, and French onion soup, the restaurant also serves great cocktails.
