Local Art
The quilted wall hangings are all crafted via machine stitching and utilizing a free-motion technique. You can find them embellished with sea shells, beads and crystals. Discover the gorgeous giclée prints, all reproduced with papers and inks designed to make the masterpiece last for 100 years. When shipped, they are placed on foam board and shrink wrapped.
Note cards are all five inches by seven inches and are wrapped in plastic sleeves. At just four dollars each, they are a travel-friendly and very affordable option. Silk painting classes are currently available where you can learn how to transfer paintings onto 100% silk fabrics with the Serti technique. Classes are taught by gallery owner Chelline, a Soldotna local who’s inspired by nature and committed to showcasing the work of 40+ Alaskan artists.
