Darwin’s Theory

This unique pub at 426 G St. is known as the original “everyone knows your name bar.” Darwin’s Theory is famous for its homey vibe and for a few unusual characteristics. Bar goers are encouraged to visit the heavy petting zoo located in the back while sippin’ on something strong. The bar also hands out free popcorn to everyone who comes through. The Anchorage Daily News awarded Darwin’s Theory “the Best Small Bar, “Best (Free) Popcorn,” and “Best Jukebox” in Anchorage. The owner, Darwin, is also the world’s biggest seller of Cinnamon Schnapps, so make sure to try everything this Alaskan dive has to offer!
