Alaska is home to both black and brown bears, one of the few places in the world where both live together!

Wednesday, 24th

  • 10:00 am – Bear Safety Class
  • 1:00- 4:00 pm – Movies
  • 2:30 pm – Paint a Bear
  • 7:00 – 8:00 pm – Symposium
  • 8:00 pm – Film Screening

Thursday, 25th

  • 11:00 am – Plant Walk
  • 12:00 pm – Photo Workshop
  • 1:00- 4:00 pm – Movies
  • 6:00 pm – Symposium

Friday, 26th

  • 10:30 am – Read with Smokey the Bear
  • 12:00 pm – Photo Workshop
  • 2:00 pm – Kids Games
  • 4:00 pm – Movies
  • 5:00 pm – Seafood Dinner by Chef Dana Tough

Saturday, 27th 

  • 9:00 am – Stop the Bleed Class
  • 10:00 am – Golf Tournament
  • 10:00 – 12:00 – Community Market/ Kids Games
  • 11:00 am – Music Workshop/ Cooking Demo
  • 2:30 pm – Native Story Telling
  • 4:00 pm – Smoked Salmon Contest
  • 7:00 pm – Bar Time and live music

Sunday, 28th

  • 7:00 – 7:45 am – 5k Walk/Run registration
  • 8:00 am – Race starts
  • 12:00 pm – Raffle Drawing
  • 3:00 pm – Wrangell Orchestra
