Fur Rendezvous is the biggest winter festival in Alaska!

This wild and crazy event started in the 1930’s and has since become an Alaskan tradition!

An Anchorage citizen started the festival with friends to escape the boredom of Alaskan winter and bring miners and fur trappers together.

Events include fireworks, auctions, a parade, cornhole championships, root beer chugging contest, talent competition, dog sled races, and MORE!

Events last from late February and into early March, check the full schedule here.
